Sault College was established in 1965. It fulfils postsecondary educational needs of thousands of students each year. The vision of College is to make society a better place by providing a transformative life experience through empowering those who study with to think and learn in progressive, innovative ways, including those students who have not yet imagined. Sault College is dedicated to satisfying students learning needs. With enthusiastic staff, small class sizes and a student-to-faculty ratio lower than the provincial average, the students learn in a supportive environment.
The College grants Ontario college certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, graduate certificates and degrees to the graduates. It is the largest deliverer of apprenticeship training in all of Northern Ontario. Sault College Athletics boasts endless opportunities for competitive sport participation in programs including basketball, indoor soccer, hockey, cross country golf and curling. It also offers a variety of recreational sport options to its students, such as ball hockey, volleyball, skiing, tennis and cricket.
Sault College is located on the border to the United States and situated in the middle of three of the largest Great Lakes on the planet.
