Teaching for over 50 years, the college offers over 100 courses across multiple levels, including degrees, diplomas, and graduate certificates. Focused in the areas of health, business and IT, media arts, social services as well as technology and trades, over 14,000 students are part of the St. Clair's community.
Dedicated to innovative research, the college has 13 faculty members currently involved in research projects, with 81 paid students working alongside them. St. Clair was recently ranked in Canada's top 50 research colleges (Research Infosource Inc).
Students are supported in their academic journey by modern facilities and numerous support services. The college continually invests in its infrastructure, and since 2004 has spent over CAD 1.24 million on classroom technology, study areas and subject labs. There has also been an additional CAD 3.7 million investment in a student center expansion, which will provide plenty of study and social spaces.
St. Clair's graduates are highly employable, with 87.5 percent employed within six months of graduation. Students also stand out to employers, with 84 percent of employers stating they were satisfied with graduate's skills and knowledge level.

Since 2004, the college has invested CAD 1.24 million in modern facilities and academic upgrades to equipment, classrooms, and labs. The largest post-secondary health sciences educator in its region, the college's Center for Applied Health Sciences boasts a 100,000 square foot hospital mock-up, specialized labs, dental clinic and a pharmacy.

Providing both full-time and part-courses, students can study degrees, diplomas, or certificates at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The college specializes in the areas of art; business and information technology; community studies; engineering technologies; health sciences; liberal arts and sciences and media and design.
Offering programs both on campus and online, departments are split across three campuses, namely Windsor, Downton and Chatham. At the college's main campus in Windsor, programs are focused on community services, engineering technology, skills trades and business and information technology.
The Downton campus is home to the St. Clair College Centre for the Arts, the business graduate program, and the MediaPlex, where public relations, event management and journalism courses are based. Chatham is a smaller, more intimate campus that houses sports and community areas.
International students can also study tailored programs through the Ace Acumen Academy. Based in Toronto and designed specifically for international students, it provides a unique learning experience in a vibrant location.
The college also provides paid apprenticeship opportunities. Lasting between two and five years, the apprenticeships help students to become qualified through a combination of campus study and on-the-job learning in a real workplace.
Entry requirements differ depending on the course and level applied for, but there are set requirements for international applicants, including English proficiency.

Applicants from South Asia and India may need higher scores, depending on the course. Proficiency tests must be taken within the previous two years from the application submission date.
If applicants don't meet these scores, they take the English Proficiency Test (CanTEST) upon arrival at the college. If students don't pass the CanTEST, they need to attend St. Clair's English for Academic Purpose. An intensive academic pathway program focuses on developing writing, reading, listening, and speaking in English. Once completed, students can then directly enroll into their chosen program.

The college provides a variety of high-quality, cutting-edge facilities for academic and recreational use.
The subject-specific facilities ensure teaching excellence across the institution. Since 2004 it has added CAD 1.24 million of developments, including audio-visual equipment, computer labs, new furniture, network upgrades, nursing lab facilities and extra study areas.
The college's Centre for Applied Health Sciences is the largest in the area. It has learning labs for 12 health science programs and is designed like a real healthcare workplace. It boasts an expansive mock hospital, specialized labs for cardiovascular, ultrasound and respiratory therapy, patient-care suites, a dental clinic, and a pharmacy.

Students can also study and socialize at the TD Student Success Centre. Here students can access open labs, silent study rooms, common areas, tutor support and a food bank.
There are a variety of societies and clubs to choose from, including 18 varsity teams across a range of sports. The Student Athletic Association provides sporting activities for individuals and teams, including competitions, tournaments, and day trips.
The SportsPlex provides a place where students can work out for free. It houses a triple gym, elevated walking track, 10,000 square fitness centre and more. The HealthPlex has a double gym, 5,000 square fitness centre and elevated walking track.
Students have several dining options to choose from on campus. This includes fast-food chains, a 150-seat pub and Eatery 101, a high-end restaurant run by culinary and hospitality management students.
International students who require financial assistance can apply for the Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) scholarship.
To be eligible, applicants must already be admitted or enrolled at a Canadian higher education institution. Students then need to achieve a minimum score of 70 on the CAEL computer edition (and submit it to the college) and complete an essay submission. Accepted by over 180 Canadian institutions, results of CAEL tests take eight business days to become available online.
Awarded by the leading English proficiency test providers, there are two scholarships worth CAD 4,000 each to be applied for. One scholarship is allocated to an international student studying in Canada, the other is given to an international student who is studying overseas.
Four runner-up recipients will also receive CAD 500 each. Two international students in Canada and two international students studying abroad will receive this funding.
Applications for CAEL are open until July 1st 2021.
St. Clair College has a government-approved Covid-19 readiness plan. This communicates travel plans for international students, including self-quarantine requirements. International students can continue to study their program online until April 30 2021, and as long as 50 percent of their course is completed in Canada, no time will be deducted on future graduation work permits.
The college has created a brand new Sports Park on campus. A multi-year project that's had CAD 26 million investment, it provides state-of-the-art facilities for students and the local community. The park boasts a 1,500-seat soccer stadium, women's softball diamond, four-court tennis centres and sand volleyball courts.
The college has unveiled designs for a new Zekelman Centre of Business and Information Technology expansion. Located on the Windsor campus, the centre will house extra classrooms, study areas, a large auditorium and Canada's first e-sports Arena.
The college was recently ranked in Canada's top 50 research colleges by Research Infosource Inc. It was recognized for the research grants it receives, as well as contracts and contributions from external organizations.
The college's wellbeing services have received funding from the Ontario government. Awarding CAD 729,389 across St. Clair College and the University of Windsor, this additional support will help increase student access to mental health and addiction services.
The provincial government will also provide CAD 2.49 million to help the college undertake upgrades for its modern and safe learning environment. An additional CAD 772,750 grant will enable St. Clair to train students in the automotive and advanced manufacturing industries through work placements.
