Research in the design, digital and visual arts is focused on the development and testing of knowledge through the creation of works of art. You will develop experimental and analytical methodologies and learn to locate your work within specific historical, cultural and theoretical contexts. In the research degrees you will construct a practice based project under the supervision of a panel whose expertise encompasses theory and practice. The PhD and MPhil degrees include a creative arts coursework component.
