Pre-Master’s (094934J) (Two study periods, 9 courses)

The University of Adelaide College was the first education provider in Australia to offer a postgraduate pathway course to a Group of Eight university. We developed these specialised Pre-Master’s Programs in close collaboration with the University of Adelaide, so you can follow your path to a range of master’s degrees.
Students who successfully complete their Pre-Master's Program will now have the opportunity to progress into Adelaide University if they start their postgraduate studies after 1 January 2026. Until then, they will still be able to progress into their chosen degree at the University of Adelaide.
Program benefits
Upon successful completion of your Pre-Master’s Program, you are guaranteed entry into your packaged postgraduate degree at the University of Adelaide or Adelaide University depending on your Pre-Master’s Program completion date.
All credit-bearing courses are the University’s syllabus, and once successfully completed, you will receive credit for these courses and enjoy guaranteed entry into your packaged master’s degree.
You’ll have the flexibility of studying a Pre-Master’s Program in one to three study periods. Students enrolled in the trimester-based master’s destinations will study three University courses, while students enrolled in the semester-based master’s destinations will study four University courses.
