Master of Art Curatorship

The Master of Art Curatorship is for those who want to focus their career in the arts museum sector. If you have a background in the arts, humanities, art history, studio arts, and collections museum, then this program will get your career to the next stage. The program is niche in that it only looks are the art visual culture, you’ll be looking into the world of the art museum, which is a very vibrant sector within itself. To be considered for entry into this course, you must have completed an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, including at least 50 credit points at second year level or above in subjects requiring written and analytical assessment with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of at least 70% (or equivalent).

To be considered for entry into this course, you must have completed an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a directly relevant discipline, with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of at least 70% (or equivalent). Disciplines directly related to this course include: Art History, Art Theory, Cultural Industries, Visual Culture, Design, Architecture, Fine Arts.

In order to be considered for entry to the 100 point program, applicants must have completed: An honours degree (or equivalent) in a directly related discipline with a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of at least H2B (70%) (or equivalent), OR An undergraduate degree in a directly related discipline with a WAM of at least 70% (or equivalent AND at least two years of documented relevant work and/or professional experience. Disciplines directly related to this course include: Art History or Art Theory.
