Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Physical Sciences

At UniSQ, the Bachelor of Science (Honours) allows you to dive deep into an area you’re passionate about. It's your chance to play a pivotal role in research on topics or issues that matter to you most, fostering critical thinking and problem solving and opening doors to a career that makes a difference. You will be guided by renowned academics and professionals in three core courses where you will carry out original scientific research, evaluate real-world practical problems and the limitations these place on progress in science, and you will learn to critically evaluate scientific literature. You will also participate in research teams, be introduced to advanced experimental and literature research methods, and have opportunities to make contact with the wider scientific community in the local region, elsewhere in Australia and overseas.

As a graduate of this degree you will be prepared for positions in a range of industries, such as computing and IT, health care and biomedical science, automotive and aerospace industries, defence, education, materials, transport, energy, space exploration, engineering and the public sector.

3-year bachelor degree, or equivalent, in the area of Honours study from a recognised institution, with a minimum GPA of 5.0 (credit).
Candidates must have both supervisory and honours committee approval prior to enrolment.

IELTS- Overall minimum score of 6.0 and no individual band score of less than 5.5.
TOEFL iBT- Overall minimum score of 80 and no individual skills score of less than 19.
