Master of Arts in Arts Leadership

The M.A. in Arts Leadership will provide advanced study in the management and promotion of arts organizations across artistic disciplines. The degree requires 36 semester credit hours of coursework and internship. It consists of:

15 hours of required specialty courses, including some specific to the arts and others in areas of public administration and public sector business, more generally
3 hours of prescribed electives
12 hours of free electives, largely selected from a variety of courses regularly taught in the Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts, Valenti School of Communications,Bauer College of Business and Master of Public Administration Program
6 credit hours of Practicum (internship) in an arts organization or program, providing vital real-world experience to students

A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with an overall 3.0 (B) average on the last 60 hours of course credit

The minimum TOEFL score required is 79 for the internet-based test.
The minimum TOEFL score for the paper-based (pBT) exam is 550 or higher.
The minimum TOEFL score for the new revised paper-based exam is: Reading 20, Listening 20, and Writing 20.
The minimum IELTS score required is an overall score of a 6.5.
