Post-Diploma Bachelor of Management in Accounting

Accountants are central to the operations and strategies of all types of organizations as well as the foundation of short- and long-term success. As an accountant, youll provide business and financial advice by measuring, analyzing, forecasting and reporting organizational performance, resources and risk. Youll be required to have integrity and the ability to think critically, communicate, and interact with others effectively.

As a student in accounting you'll gain technical skills and learn how to address a broad range of business problems. You will acquire and practice the skills needed for success, including writing and presenting, using professional tools and case analyses. Youll study financial reporting, individual and corporate taxation, business analytics and information systems, auditing, management control systems and costing, as well as variety of other management disciplines.

You can also choose a minor to enhance your knowledge in a secondary line of study. Many minors complement accounting well such as computer science, economics, family and small business management, indigenous business management, international management, and supply chain and operations management.

Applicants who complete the equivalent of Grade 12 in high school (secondary school) will be considered for admission. Applicants who have completed secondary qualifications in other countries will be considered for admission under the High School Admission Route. Applicants to undergraduate programs who have completed post-secondary study will be considered for admission under the Post-Secondary Admission Route.

English language Requirements:

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL (iBT)) with a minimum total score of 80 on the internet-based TOEFL (iBT), with minimum scores of 16 in each of Listening, Reading, and Speaking, and a minimum score of 18 in Writing.

Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic score with a minimum overall score of 54.

Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) Assessment with a minimum overall score of 60, with a minimum 50 in each of Listening, Reading, and Speaking, and 60 in Writing.

Academic International English Languages Testing System (IELTS) test with a minimum overall score of 6.0, and a minimum 6.0 in each band.
