Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology (Saint John)

Environmental biology is an interdisciplinary science because the solutions to environmental problems lie at the intersection of human behaviour, technology and the biology of living organisms. Environmental biology students will take courses in:

chemistry
economics
environmental law
sociology
ecology
conservation biology
ecotoxicology

Newly admitted students who have completed IB courses in high school may be eligible for advanced standing transfer credit toward their studies at UNB To apply for transfer credit please ensure your official results are sent directly from the International Baccalaureate Organization to UNB Only courses that are completed at the Higher-Level HL are eligible for transfer credit.

Undergraduate applicants whose native language is not English require the following English language proficiency minimum scores for direct entry into most academic programs.
TOEFL IBT with a minimum overall score of 85.
IELTS or IELTS Indicator with a minimum overall score of 6.5.
CAEL CE or CAEL Online with a minimum overall score of 60.
Pearson PTE with a minimum score of 59.
Cambridge English Assessment B2 First C1 advanced or C2 proficiency with a minimum score of 176.
