Bachelor of Science in Physics

Study the natural world at its most fundamental level. Learn about physics, the science upon which all other sciences and technologies are based. Our degree opens the door to future study and career opportunities in such fields as education, scientific research, industry, medical technology, and environmental studies.

In the first two years, you will take courses in:

mechanics, waves, thermal physics, electricity and magnetism
modern physics including relativity and quantum theory and their applications
mathematics and computer programming
Build on that foundation in your third and fourth years with courses in:

quantum mechanics
electromagnetic theory and radiation
electronics
optics
statistical mechanics
nuclear and particle physics
condensed matter physics
special-topics courses
research-oriented, project-type courses

You can also complete a joint degree in Physics combined with one other discipline such as Mathematics, Chemistry, or Computer Science.

The Bachelor of Science Honours program in Physics involves supervised research experience for proceeding to postgraduate studies in physics or related fields.

Entry requirements may vary from country to country, Students who complete their studies at an appropriate high school and/or recognized post-secondary institution will be considered for admission.

English language requirement:

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of 90 or higher in the internet-based test, with not less than 20 in each of the Reading, Listening, Writing or Speaking components; score of at least 230 in the computer-based test or at least 570 in the paper-based test.

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Academic score of at least 6.5 overall, with not less than 6.0 in any of the four modules;

Duolingo English Test score of 105 or higher;

MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery) score of at least 80, with a minimum of 3 on the Speaking Rating Scale;

CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language) or the CAEL CE (Computer Edition) Assessment score of at least 70, with no subtest below 60;

A grade of B or better on Cambridge English Qualification C1 Advanced;

PTE (Pearson Test of English - Academic): overall score of 65, with not less than 60 in each of reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
