Our BA (Hons) Page, Stage and Screen degree combines the experimental art of drama and stage performance, with the critical thinking skills of storytelling. You will study both traditional and modern methods involved in the full cycle of creative and visual storytelling – from the written word to the dizzying heights of stage, television and film production.
You will apply concepts from drama and theatre, film and TV, literature and creative writing to give you a varied skillset that will enhance your employability and give you the experience you need to break into the creative and entertainment industries when you graduate.
Working alongside experienced and industry-practiced academics, including trained actors and published authors and critics, as well as influential guest lecturers from the world of film, theatre and literature, you will develop your expertise through both practical and theoretical work. You will also get the chance to collaborate with students from across our Media, Performance and Communications courses, mirroring real-world practice. The course explores the creation, reception and consumption of contemporary media through investigation, process, and critical understanding, culminating in the development of an agile, varied and highly marketable skillset.
