Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture/Master of Architecture Preparatory Track

Qualified students in the interior architecture program may consider a course of study that will give them advanced placement in the Master of Architecture degree program. Completing this path allows Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture graduates to gain advanced standing in the graduate architecture program, satisfying degree requirements in two years rather than three. This path only applies to the degree program offered at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

To apply for admission as an undergraduate student, each international student is required to provide the following:
A completed application for undergraduate admission.
Complete one required essay chosen from one of seven prompts.
Optional: Submit recommendation letters (academic, professional, or personal) and a Personal Statement.

For students attending a high school in the US, our admissions team uses your self-reported grades to calculate your UT core GPA.
For students attending secondary school outside the US, our admissions team will need official copies of your transcript, diploma, or certificate prior to enrollment.
Request your secondary school or counselor to send your official transcripts. Transcripts, certificates, or diplomas must come directly from the issuing school or issuing ministry or body. Official transcripts are certified copies sent directly from the authorized school official.
Submit Proof of English Proficiency -
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) or IELTS Indicator a minimum score of 6.5.
TOEFL-IBT - overall score 70.
TOEFL-PBT - overall score 523
