Graduate Certificate in Educational and Instructional Technology

WMU's Graduate Certificate in Educational and Instructional Technology is designed for individuals interested in improving their skills and knowledge in the strategic use and application of technology tools to help people learn in a variety of contexts including corporations, K-12 education, higher education, nonprofits and other organizations. Credits earned in the Graduate Certificate program can be applied to a Master of Arts degree if you decide to continue your studies. The Graduate Certification Educational and Instructional Technology allows you the flexibility to participate in and complete most or all of your coursework online. Some students enroll in elective courses that are offered on campus, providing some program flexibility.

Please prepare a statement which covers the following information and attach it within the online application system.

Personal statement
Summarize your academic or professional experiences in information technology or cybersecurity and indicate how these experiences make you an ideal candidate for the program
You are encouraged to note any exceptional accomplishments or projects as well as any professional certifications in this statement Address how you see this degree aligning with your academic or professional goals include your thoughts on how it may aid you in potential professional positions or future educational pursuits
This statement should be double spaced 500 to 1000 words and demonstrate your communication skills and writing competence
Transcripts An official transcript from the institution from which you received your bachelors degree is required as well as a transcript from the institutions where any additional graduate level courses or degrees have been taken or completed

An overall grade point average of at least 3.0 in the last two years of undergraduate work.
Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL 80 iBT graduate.
TOEFL Essential 8 Graduate.
International English Language Testing System IELTS Academic - 6.5 graduate.
Pearson Test of English Academic Module PTE - 54 graduate.
