Advanced Professional Master of Public Health- Preventive Medicine

This program is designed for physicians doing residencies or fellowships in preventive medicine as part of their board eligibility. The Advanced Professional MPH degree requires a total of 16 course units. The Advanced Professional MPH in Preventive Medicine requires the student to complete or acquire an exemption from the following courses. If a course is waived, a substitute course must be identified.

Applicants to the Advanced Professional and Executive MPH should have one of the following:
A doctoral (or international equivalent) degree in a field related to public health (e.g., physicians, dentists, podiatrists, pharmacists, veterinarians, attorneys, and those with a doctorate in the biological, behavioral, or social sciences).
A master's degree and at least 2 years of relevant workexperience.
A bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant workexperience for the AP program and 4 years for the Executive.
Completion of the third year at an accredited medical, dental, or podiatric school in the United States.
