1. Where are you originally from and why did you choose to study in Australia?

I am from Chennai, India. I grew up in Malaysia. There are many compelling reasons to study in Australia. Here are a few -

2. Why did you choose IDP?

3. Are there any (major) challenges you faced?

I did not face any challenges during my college application process. I was in Bangalore and I was getting the support and process from IDP Chennai and that was seamlessly so good and well supported by IDP.

4. How did you approach your job search?

I got my full-time job when I was in my second last semester. I applied for many jobs through LinkedIn and developed good connections throughout my study at QUT. That helped me land my first Software Developer role and subsequently, I switched roles. I did not find much of a challenge.

5. What are your goals for your career in Australia?

I want to progress in my career as a Software developer and want to be in a leadership position soon. I run a YouTube channel and provide educational content about life in Australia and how to move here.

6. Is there any advice for international students?

Try to choose a course that you are passionate about and not because someone tells you to or for PR reasons.
