Although the origin of the university in Nottingham, England dates back to 1881, got the “University of Nottingham” name in 1948. The school has a total of 5 campuses, three in Nottingham and one in China and Malaysia.

Nottingham University, one of the Russell Group universities, offers high standards in education as an innovative and research-oriented university. Its motto "Sapientia urbs conditur" can be translated into English roughly as "the city is based on wisdom".

The university has a department that provides private career and employment services to its students. Students of the school, nearly 30% of international students has approximately 10a0 students from Turkey. QS ranks 62nd in post-graduate employment rates.

Entry requirementsfor Turkish students

The University has a Turkish Society community dedicated to Turkish students. This community has accounts such as Facebook and Twitter, festivals are organized to help them feel at home and there are dishes unique to Turkish cuisine in Nottingham.

Many Turkish students must complete the foundation program of the school for undergraduate programs. Grade point average of 75% and above must have A level and IB diploma with high school diploma *

Bachelor's Degree diploma is required for master - gradute programs and required GPA is 3.0 or above.

As an international student, you also need to submit your English proficiency. Although the university accepting an overall 5.5 IELTS score for Foundation programs; The language proficiency scores required for the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs may vary depending on the programs to be applied.
