International students can meet people and make friends by getting involved. You can get involved by joining student clubs and organizations. We have over 60. You can join student activities and parties on campus. We have Halloween parties and Lunar New Year parties where over 500 students join. You can volunteer and you can go work out every day at the fitness center, lift weights or play sports and make new friends.

In UNSW, the student life is very active. We have more than 300 clubs and volunteering program in the university and we are encouraged to be involved in those. So just by joining those clubs and societies or attending their events, you will eventually and always meet new people and that's how we make friends.
