To get accepted to undergraduate studies at the University of Winnipeg, students are required to have an overall band score of 6.5 in the academic module for IELTS. We also offer a variety of other tests that students can complete, as well as an English language program, if you're looking to practice your English a little bit more.

In general, to be admitted to a certificate diploma or degree program at MacEwan University, you need to provide an IELTS SCORE of six point five in total and nothing lower than five point five in each component.

For Carleton University, specifically, an overall IELTS score of 6.5 with no band lower than 6 is required to be admitted without any ESL language requirements. If you score between a 5.0 or 6.0 with no band lower than 4.5, you can still be admitted to most of our degree programs and you will just have to complete some ESL courses alongside your degree courses.
