If you're an exchange student, your home institution will have a formal exchange agreement with us. However, a study abroad student, you can come and study with us without a formal agreement and pay your tuition fees direct to bond.

A student exchange program allows the student to study at an overseas partner institution under a formal agreement between the institutions, whereas a study abroad program allows the student to study at an overseas institution without a formal agreement between the institutions.

Study Abroad Program is a full time study program in which international students will be living in their destination country for the duration of the whole program and returning back afterwards exchange program. Those programs, which once again will offer completion of four or six semesters of their bachelor's degree and can study one or two semesters in their destination country and return to their home country after completion of those semesters.

So the program allows you to undertake, study and oversee institution, but usually without a formal agreement between institutions. This means that you are required to pay upfront fees to the OIC institution.

A student exchange program is one where you are currently studying at one of the youth exchange partner universities and they have nominated you to undertake the program with us. If nominated, you will continue to pay your tuition to your home university. Study abroad or students pay tuition directly to be you for the semester and can come from a university that is not partnered with you.
