I would say the best way to make friends is definitely to get involved in your university, whether that's through societies or talking and planning study groups with coursemates, as well as going to different events. Reading is very. The people here are very friendly, and everyone at the university is looking to meet new people and make friends.

From University of Derby and my suggestion for making friends is to join the society, so some shared topic hobbies is always the best and easiest way to start off topic with and get close to other people. And here in Derby, our society is more than just societies where you got a few nice. You can go clubbing and social together. So it would be a really nice experience to start from a society.

In my personal experience, I made friends, some socializing with people in my classes and ask their social media details. Another good way to make friends is by joining university societies such as the Pool Society, the Creative Writing Society and many more.
