CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building) covers all the details on how to plan, prepare and manage residential construction sites from start to finish. Examine the principles, techniques and regulations of the Australian building and construction industry.

The course is delivered with both theory and practical elements, with a mixture of classroom, group discussions, and individual research (including online study).

Assessment combines classroom participation, observation, practical and written presentation and self-paced exercises online in the students’ own time.

The practical demonstrations of skills on a building and construction site will be required for some units of competency, near the completion of the course.

BAA will reasonably assist those students without access to a building and construction site (where required).

Study Mode: Full time (20 hours per week) including:

Two-7.5 hours sessions
One-5 hour self-directed study session per week
This equates for 20 hours of full-time study per week
