Deakin has instituted a strategic research alliance with its partner of over a decade, the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Students can enrol for the joint PhD program in STEM, designed for future-ready global leaders. There are 30 scholarships on offer for eligible students, who will get to work on leading-edge, cross-disciplinary research that promises to make a difference in India, Australia and the world.
Deakin believes that everyone should have the opportunity to go to university. That is why the university offers a range of scholarships to high-achieving students to support them through their studies.
These scholarships include the Deakin International Scholarship, which entitles the student to 25 percent of their tuition fee, and the Deakin Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarship, which covers anywhere from 50 percent to the entire tuition fee. Those students who possess the necessary credentials but miss out on the prestigious Deakin Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarship will automatically be considered for the Deakin International Scholarship.
