Bachelor of Engineering and Biomedical Engineering - Software and Biomedical Engineering (B.Eng.BME. Co-op Optional)

A unique integrated program delivered jointly by the Faculties of Engineering and Health Sciences, interlinking Software engineering with biomedical projects to advance digital control systems. Software engineers are ultimately responsible for the usability, safety, and reliability of their products, which is particularly relevant for medical devices. Computing is used to solve problems, manage information, create smart technologies, explore the world, and connect to other people.

Software engineers specialize in designing, building, testing, and maintaining the software in computer systems. These systems control electrical and mechanical devices, computerized communication systems, information systems, medical devices and health care infrastructure.

International Baccalaureate -
High school transcript with predicted and or final IB grades.
Final IB diploma results must be submitted to be considered for advanced credit.
International Secondary School -
High School transcript with interim and or final grades.
If you are attending an international school that offers multiple curricula eg American GCE IB please ask your school to specify the curriculum in which you are enrolled and ensure that appropriate documents are submitted.
IELTS 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in each of the four components (Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening), results valid for 2 years
TOEFL- IBT: 86 overall with a minimum score of 20 in each of the four components (Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening), valid for 2 years
