Students at Northeastern graduate with more than a degree. They also begin their careers with real-world work experience that makes them competitive applicants in the job market. In each class students take, they'll combine classroom learning with experience-based learning opportunities, such as projects using real business data, partnerships with companies around the world, and research opportunities with industry experts.

Co-ops are at the center of Northeastern education. During co-ops, students will work full time for the organization of their choice for up to six months at a time. This gives students valuable work experience in their field and helps them put their classroom studies into action—all before graduation. Choosing to complete a co-op in North America can give students a particularly important advantage over local students if they plan to continue their career in the region as well.
