Associate in Arts - Liberal Arts and Sciences (Arts and Humanities Emphasis)

By completing the Liberal Arts and SciencesEmphasis in Arts and Humanities degree, students will be exposed to an interdisciplinary pattern of coursework essential to the understanding of the contemporary world, its people and its cultures. Students will survey, analyze and interpret key philosophical, historical, literary, aesthetic and cultural works produced over the course of human history to better understand social and historical life, as well as human existence, human meaning and human creativity. Students will also practice forms of creative, intellectual and cultural expression. Common majors within the Arts and Humanities Emphasis include, but are not limited to, English, Ethnic Studies, Film Studies, Fine Arts, Foreign Languages, History, Humanities, Music, Philosophy and Theatre Arts.

High School/University Transcripts
Equivalent of a 2.00 US GPA.
Transcripts for all coursework completed in high school (upper-secondary), English language programs, and university or college. Transcripts should be translated into English by an official translator and/or translating agency.
Unofficial transcripts are sufficient for admission purposes.
Official transcripts are required for athletic eligibility, and may be submitted at a later date.
If you are under 18 years old during your first semester, a copy of your high school diploma is required at least one week before the semester starts.
Secondary School and/or College or University -

Studied for a minimum of 3 years with all subjects in English at an international secondary school.
Attended a US high school or secondary school in a country where English is the primary language of instruction for at least one year.
Completed all years of study in a secondary school in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, German, or Dutch countries and received passing grades in English.
Attended a U.S. college or university for at least one semester (non-ESL courses).
Attended at least one semester of non-ESL courses at a college or university where English is the primary language of instruction.
