Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Archaeology (Joint Major)

Work outside on archaeological digs around the world, and inside in the laboratory analyzing physical evidence. Add anthropology courses for a unique degree. You may opt for a bachelor of arts degree from either the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences or the Faculty of Environment.
The Department of Sociology and Anthropology provides an established and distinctive program of undergraduate and graduate studies that provides rigorous foundational and disciplinary training, in an environment that fosters critical thinking, creative pedagogy, experiential learning and interdisciplinary collaboration.

We offer one of the few truly interdisciplinary joint sociology and anthropology departments in North America, with our interdisciplinarity boldly displayed in the curriculum structure of both the undergraduate and graduate programs.

Official International High school Transcripts required.Submit a transcript which includes grades for all courses completed and final grades for the first semester of Senior Year. Graduation from a university-preparatory program at a senior high school. International Baccalaureate IB Diploma is required. You must successfully complete the full IB Diploma, including at least 3 HL courses

IELTS - All test formats accepted with a minimum overall band score of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0. TOEFL IBT- Overall score 88 with no part less than 20

Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic)- Overall score of 65, and a minimum score of 60 in the Communicative Skills, including: Listening, Reading, Speaking, Writing
