Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) / Bachelor of Global Studies Conjoint- Environmental Change

We've designed the Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) with budding scientists in mind. It’s for students who want to pursue postgraduate research. By taking a conjoint with a Bachelor of Global Studies, you can expand your outlook as you’re exposed to new ways of thinking about the world. As you gain competency in another language you’ll deepen your understanding of other cultures and perspectives. This will prepare you for international research collaboration. You will complete an independent scientific research project in your final year under the guidance of a mentor. Our BAdvSci(Hons)BGlobalSt will give you a strong foundation for continuing into postgraduate research. Alternatively your enduring critical thinking, communication skills and global perspective will help you navigate the changing world of work as artificial intelligence and robotics challenge traditional ways of working. You will be well prepared to pursue an international scientific career, or to contribute directly to research here in New Zealand.

International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum total score of 24.
General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level. You must have completed a minimum of three A-Level subjects.
Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). You must have completed a minimum of three A-level subjects.
IELTS (Academic) - Overall score of 6.5 and no bands below 6.0
Internet-based TOEFL (iBT) - Overall score of 90 and a written score of 21
Paper-based TOEFL - Overall score of 68 and a writing score of 21
