Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering

The Master of Engineering (Civil Engineering) is a postgraduate coursework degree that will help you develop specialised technical knowledge in civil engineering, and learn about designing and building systems.

You will complete core professional engineering units and specialist units in civil engineering, in addition to a capstone comprising either a research project or a dissertation.

You will also complete elective units as needed to make up the requirements of the course.

To be eligible for admission, an applicant is required to have:

an Australian Bachelor of Engineering degree in the relevant discipline with a credit average (65 percent) or equivalent qualification, or
an Australian Bachelor of Engineering degree in the relevant discipline or equivalent, and five years relevant professional work experience, or
the relevant University of Sydney Graduate Diploma in Engineering or Graduate Certificate in Engineering with a credit average (65 percent).
IELTS score- A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
TOEFL - IBT score- A minimum result of 85 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
