B.A. (Moderatorship) Honours (Level 8) - Biological and Biomedical Sciences - Physiology

Physiology is the study of the function of living things. It spans the spectrum of Biology from molecular and cellular physiology through to the function of organs systems and ultimately the whole body including how we survive in different environments and adapt to them. Physiology is the foundational biomedical science because it underpins translational and clinical medicine. Understanding physiology is essential to understanding ourselves and our health.

H6 or O4 Mathematics

H4 in two of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics/Chemistry, Geology, Geography, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Agricultural Science, Computer Science.

GCSE: Grade B/6 Mathematics

Advanced GCE (A-Level):

Grade C in two of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics/Chemistry, Geology, Geography, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Agricultural Science, Computer Science.

International Baccalaureate:

SL Grade 5 Mathematics

HL Grade 5 in two of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics/Chemistry, Geology, Geography, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Agricultural Science, Computer Science.

Certain subject combinations are not permitted: Physics/Chemistry with Physics or Chemistry, Agricultural Science with Biology, and Applied Mathematics with Mathematics.

CAO Points 555

International Baccalaureate - Overall 24 which must include 3 subjects grade 5 at higher level and 3 subjects grade 4 at standard level to include English, Mathematics and another language.

IELTS (Academic version)- overall 6.5 (no individual band below 6)
TOEFL (Internet based) - overall 90 (with a written score of 21).
TOEFL (Paper based) - overall 570 (with a TWE score of 4.5).
