Trinity College has been offering a preparatory pathway for international students looking to access Australia's top university for more than 30 years. The University of Melbourne sees approximately 25 per cent of international undergraduate students coming from Trinity's foundation studies.
TCFS is the only foundation studies program that guarantees entry to undergraduate courses at the University of Melbourne, provided that students achieve the required scores. Taught by leading academics, the TCFS program is both rigorous and challenging. It has been designed in collaboration with the University of Melbourne, with supervision provided by the university's academic board.

The Trinity College Foundation Studies program is specifically designed to give international students who meet entry requirements with respect to English language and academic results direct access to University of Melbourne undergraduate degrees. Trinity's program is approved and overseen by the University of Melbourne, and is designed to allow students to seamlessly transition into tertiary studies. The Foundation Studies program does this by offering university-style lectures and plenty of support from staff and teachers, who help students adjust to life in Australia.

Students can pay their fees made through a credit card, bank draft, or direct deposit/telegraphic transfer.
Students who are under 18 years of age must get their accommodation choices approved by the college before they apply for student visas.

Students must present the electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (e-COE), CAAW letter (for students under 18) as well as other required documents to apply for a student visa.
Foundation Studies Scholarships
Trinity College Foundation Studies Scholarships are awarded based on excellent academic merit. Students will be chosen from across each of the Foundation Studies programs and based on their geographic region. These scholarships do not require a separate scholarship application and will be considered based on admission to the college. They will be awarded prior to intake and students will be notified two weeks ahead of their selection round.
