Bachelor of Arts in General Studies

Open doors to a diverse set of careers with a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in General Studies. General studies is constructed by two minors of a student's interest. Both programs allow students to learn from several disciplines at TWU, which ultimately provides them with a well-rounded liberal arts education. In addition, students who major in general studies take their interests beyond the usual disciplinary boundaries and have the flexibility to self-select which disciplines they want to focus on.

School Certificate: same as GCE with at least two passes at the principal level of the Higher School Certificate.
Certificate of matriculation from recognized universities.
International Baccalaureate with at least two subjects at the higher level.
Other countries: write or email the Admissions Office for information.
Submit official TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge English Qualifications, PTE Academic, CAEL, or Duolingo exam results, meeting the admission requirements in the table below. Test results are valid for admission to TWU for up to two years from the examination date. Tests taken more than two years prior will not be valid for admission. These results must be submitted at the time of application. TOEFL - Overall Score 88 or higher with minimum score of 20 in each band. IELTS - Overall score 6.5 or higher with minimum score of 6.0 in Writing/Reading and 5.5 in Speaking/Listening.
