Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction - Multi-Age Visual Arts Licensure

The program is a Master of Science degree, which leads to licensure in a chosen teaching field, and is open to highly qualified students who hold the B.A., B.F.A., or B.S. degree. It is designed to give the student concentrated study in one of the licensure areas listed for high school (grades 7-12), multi-age (grades P-12), vocational family and consumer science (grades 4-12), and intervention specialist (grades P-3 or K-12). This program is a Master of Science degree, which leads to licensure in a chosen teaching field and is open to highly qualified students who hold an undergraduate degree. It is designed to give the student concentrated study in one of the licensure areas listed for high school (grades 7-12). All teacher education programs require a 16-week student teaching experience.

Overall GPA of 2.75 or higher
A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with an overall GPA of 2.75 or better or 3.00 for the last two years (64 semester credits or equivalent), or holds an advanced degree from an accredited college or university in or appropriate to the intended field, or holds a baccalaureate or master's degree from a foreign college or university with first-class standing or its equivalent, plus satisfactory evidence of competence in English.
