BSc (Hons) Psychology with Applied Computing (2-year degree)

The University of Buckingham's unique tutorial teaching model is central to our teaching on the psychology with applied computing degree. For every psychology module, you will have weekly tutorial meetings with your module tutor, each with a maximum of seven students. This means your tutors will get to know who you are and encourage you to engage with the content of the modules. Tutorials are also a great way to ask questions, get to know other students, and practice your teamworking skills. Our emphasis on employability skills means that we approach the tutorials as a professional work meeting where there is an expectation that students prepare for and participate in the tutorial.

The combined (major in Psychology / minor in Applied Computing) degree gives you the opportunity to develop your psychological knowledge alongside skills, such as coding that are highly valued by future employers, so that you can apply these in your graduate life as a global citizen who will make a difference.

The standard entry requirements for psychology with computing are 128 112 UCAS Tarif points A-level ABB-BBC or equivalent plus GCSE Maths B5

If English is not your first language you will also need an IELTS Score of 6.5 with at least 6.0 in each component

TOEFL IBT - 79 minimum component scores of Listening 12 Reading 13 Speaking 18 Writing 21 Accepted for Undergraduate level courses or above.
