BSc (Hons) Psychology with English Literature (2-year degree)

The University of Buckingham's unique tutorial teaching model is central to our teaching on the Psychology with English Literature degree. For every psychology module, you will have weekly tutorial meetings with your module tutor, each with a maximum of seven students. This means your tutors will get to know who you are and encourage you to engage with the content of the modules. Tutorials are also a great way to ask questions, get to know other students, and practice your teamworking skills. Our emphasis on employability skills means that we approach the tutorials as a professional work meeting where there is an expectation that students prepare for and participate in the tutorial.

The combined (major in Psychology / minor in English Literature) degree gives you the gives you the imaginative scope of an arts programme with the vocation and professionalism of a Bachelor of Science degree.

The standard entry requirements for Psychology with English Literature are 128 112 UCAS Tarif points Alevel ABB-BBC or equivalent

Applicants with BTEC and similar qualifications are welcome to apply including if you have a mix of BTEC and A levels We also accept a wide range of international qualifications including International Baccalaureate You can use the UCAS website to calculate your tariff points to find out what your qualifications are or will be worth

Applicants must also have GCSE English and Maths at Grade C Grade 4 or above or equivalent If English is not your first language you will also need an IELTS score of 6.5 with at least 6.0 in each component Presessional and foundation options are also available to support English Language competency and preparation for Higher Education study

TOEFL IBT - 79 minimum component scores of Listening 12 Reading 13 Speaking 18 Writing 21 Accepted for Undergraduate level courses or above.
International Baccalaureate IB English Language score of 4 or above will be accepted.
