Master of Arts in Human Resources

The University of Cincinnati's Master of Arts in Human Resources degree program is offered full- and part-time to provide a flexible schedule for graduate students. As human capital is increasingly recognized as a competitive advantage, leading firms are focusing more on talent acquisition and development, leadership training, and culture shaping.

Students can complete this program in as few as nine months or two semesters. The Lindner College of Business also offers assistance for students looking for job placement after graduation. There is no formatting requirement, however, please review your resume for any grammar mistakes. It should be no longer than two pages.
Transcript
You must have a U.S. bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, or the international equivalent, by the time of application. You can submit an unofficial copy of all of your undergraduate and graduate transcripts (and degree documents, if applicable) with your application, but official transcripts will be required if youre accepted.
If you are an international applicant, you may be required to submit a NACES-approved, courseby-course evaluation on your transcript. Please contact the Graduate Programs Office to see if this is a requirement for your program.

Letters of Recommendation
Please select two recommenders who will be able to discuss your professional performance, academic performance and work style. This can include previous supervisors, faculty members or mentors. Letters of recommendations must come directly from the listed recommender on your application.
Standardized Tests
The GMAT and GRE are optional.

Any student with a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, regardless of field of study, is eligible to apply for admission to a Lindner graduate program. Applicants should have at least a B grade average (3.0 GPA or equivalent) in relevant undergraduate coursework, or otherwise show evidence of promise satisfactory to the admitting department. Applications are reviewed in a holistic manner, carefully considering your entire application portfolio.
