Master of Engineering

The Master of Engineering (MEng) program offers opportunities for advanced training in the areas of Mechanical Engineering, Biological Engineering, Computer Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Engineering Systems and Computing and Water Resources Engineering.
The MEngg program offer two study options: first being course-based, and the second being course-work plus a major research project. The course-based option provides graduates with a fuller understanding of engineering principles with a focus on professional development and skill relevant to working in industry. The Major Research Project (MRP) option allows students to deepen their understanding of engineering principals through coursework and engage in cutting-edge engineering research by developing and researching their own research project. The project requires a final written report that is presented in a public seminar followed by an oral examination of the candidate.

Completion of an honours program with at least a 70% average in the last two years of full-time study
Demonstrated acceptable analytical ability by having sufficient background in mathematics,chemistry, and physics
Background in undergraduate engineering courses
Please note that for the IELTS test, the School of Engineering requires a minimum score of 6.0 for each component band, with a minimum score of 6.5 overall. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and (TOEFL Special Home Edition (iBT)) 89 A minimum score of 21 must be achieved in each of the four categories (listening, speaking, reading, writing)
