Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering - Control Systems (Cyber Physical Systems)

The field of control systems has changed dramatically in the last 30 years. The advent of low cost microprocessors has enabled control algorithms to be embedded in almost every conceivable type of technology. The development of sophisticated computer aided design software has enabled analysis and controller design for complex multivariable systems. The needs of society for improved transportation safety and a cleaner environment have posed challenges that can only be solved with feedback control. Faculty and students are applying their expertise in control systems to transportation systems, biological systems, networks, production lines, robotics, and much more. Our research advances the state of the art and the classes we teach make these new concepts accessible to students.

Applicants complete a bachelor's degree from a U.S. college or university accredited by a regional accrediting association, or complete an international degree that is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree from a college or university recognized and approved by the Ministry of Education or Commission responsible for higher education in the country where the degree is earned.
All applicants are required to upload a scanned copy of their official transcript, for each bachelor's, master's, professional, or doctoral degree earned or in progress
Applicants who must demonstrate English language proficiency through test scores but do so through either TOEFL or IELTS. Minimum scores for admission are below.
