Bachelor of Journalism/ Master of Arts in Journalism

Most master's students find that one of the curricular programs - two-year or BJ/MA, depending on your program - meets their needs. These programs were developed by the faculty with thoughtful consideration of curricular effectiveness and industry requirements. Alterations to the program you are following must be done in consultation with your academic adviser.

Although 37 credits are required for graduation, some of the programs suggest additional credits. These are not requirements, but suggestions.

The BJ/MA curricular options are intended to build on the solid foundation students developed in their undergraduate studies at the school.

Academic Transcripts -
You must submit transcripts from every school or college you have attended including -
transcripts from every high school attended grades nine through 12 or equivalent.
transcripts from all colleges-universities attended.
If your transcripts are in a language other than English you must submit -
the original transcripts in native language.
their English translation if curriculum was not taught in English.
US High School Students -
If you attend a US high school, you must submit every transcript from each high school you attended grades nine through 12 including -
US high school transcripts.
transcripts from any high schools you attended in your home country.
the original transcripts.

They do not accept grades from your home country that have been transferred to or adjusted by your US high school This is why you must include the transcripts from your home country.
Your core coursework grades must meet one of the following requirements -
GPA of 2.5 or higher on a U.S. 4.0 scale.
GPA of 3.5 or higher on a U.S. 5.0 scale.
Average grades of 80 or higher on a 100-point scale.
Average grades of 8 or higher on a 10-point scale.
IGCSE scores of C or higher in five or more subjects AND three A-level certificates with a C or higher.

TOEFL IBT - Minimum Overall Score - 100, Minimum Section Score - 17.
IELTS - Minimum Overall Score - 7.0, Minimum Section Score - 6.0.
