Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Public Service - International and Comparative Studies (Chattanooga Campus)

The Department of Political Science and Public Service builds and shares knowledge about the diverse fields of political science, public administration, and nonprofit management. We provide UTC undergraduates and graduate students with high quality instruction in these fields through our bachelor's, master's, certificate, and badge programs. The UTC Department of Political Science and Public Service offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. All majors take foundational political science courses, a career planning course, research methods, and the senior capstone course. The remaining courses are based on the student's choice of one of the six concentrations described below. Even with the concentration requirements, students have the flexibility to select some coursework from areas of interest outside of their concentrations
