Pathways To ATN and Top Universities in Australia

In the event you do not meet the direct entry requirements for ATN or top universities, below are some pathways you can take to make it to your desired university!

1. Diploma Pathway

Also known as International Year 1, a Diploma Pathway program is the equivalent of the first year of an undergraduate degree.

It is a full-time academic program designed to help you pick up the relevant and necessary academic knowledge to build on your academic foundation and improve your study skills.

Upon completion, you’d be able to gain direct entry to the second year of a range of undergraduate degrees. For example, completing a Diploma of Business at UTS College prior to pursuing a Bachelor of Business in the University of Technology Sydney.

If you’ve completed HKDSE, A-levels or equivalent high school qualifications but aren’t able to meet the academic requirement for direct entry to your desired university, this pathway is suitable for you.

2. Foundation Studies

For F.4-F.6 students who do not meet the academic requirements or wish to skip the public exam, you’ll be advised to complete a Foundation Studies program to prepare for your desired undergraduate academic program.

These programs can span across 6 to 18 months and will equip you with independent study skills and the required level of language for successful university study.

Upon completion, you’ll be able to gain entry into the first or second year of your chosen undergraduate degree in universities such as the University of Adelaide and more.
