IDP IELTS Special Offer

The IDP IELTS High Achiever Award seeks to recognize and reward exceptional test takers who demonstrate excellence in the IDP IELTS on Computer Test. Eligibility for this distinguished honour requires test takers to attain an overall band score of 7.5 or higher on a test taken between 1 April 2025 and 30 June 2025.

Registration Process

Eligible test takers can register through a dedicated campaign page by 30 June 2025. The monthly awards are determined based on the month in which the test taker registers for the campaign. Each month, among the test takers who register in that month, the one with the highest overall score will be declared the winner.

Criteria

In the event of a tie, where multiple test takers achieve the same overall score, the scores in the four test components—Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking—will be evaluated. In cases where test takers have identical scores across all components, the registration timestamp will be used to determine the winner on a first-come, first-served basis.

Awards

The Winner, 1st Runner-Up, and 2nd Runner-Up for each registration month will be announced before the 15th of the following month. The award amounts are as follows：

Minimum Entry Requirement: Overall Band Score of 7.5 or above

• Winner: HK$4000 (1 Person)

• 1^st Runner-Up: HK$3000 (1 Person)

• 2^nd Runner-Up: HK$2000 (1 Person)

Campaign Mechanism

Eligibility:

• Test takers must have an overall IELTS band score of 7.5 or above.

Selection Process:

• Each month, the test taker with the highest overall score among those who registered and submitted their scores in that month, will be selected as the winner.

IELTS Registration process is very simple. To register for an IELTS test, you could either apply in person at the IDP Education Hong Kong Wan Chai Office, or more conveniently, simply register online. IELTS test fee is HKD $2,380. Registration and payment must be completed within 24 hours, and your admission document, dates and time of both your written and speaking tests will be sent to you 7 days prior to the test. You must arrive early on the test day to register and store your personal belongings. Please bring along your ID and admission document for verification, and have your fingerprint scanned before entering the test venue.

(Caution: Customer services, like registration, change test date, collect IELTS result, will ONLY be available at IDP Education Wan Chai Office. Locations other than this, are where IELTS exam take place)

"IDP IELTS High Achiever Award" Terms & Conditions

1. The campaign runs from 1 April 2025 to 30 June 2025.

2. This campaign is exclusively available to test takers who fulfill the following conditions:
   a. Have undertaken the IELTS on Computer Test administered by IDP Education between 1 April 2025 and 30 June 2025.
   b. Registering for the campaign by 30 June 2025 and submitting official IELTS scores during registration.
   c. Achieve an overall band score of 7.5 or about in the IDP IELTS on Computer Test. If a test taker opts for the IELTS One Skill Retake (OSR), updated OSR scores must be submitted during registration if intended for use in the campaign.
   d. Each test taker is permitted to register only once and is eligible for a single opportunity to receive an award.

3. Test takers are responsible for ensuring that submitted scores are accurate and verifiable. Discrepancies may result in disqualification.

4. If a test taker opts to undertake the OSR, it is the test taker’s sole responsibility to ensure completion and submission of OSR test results by the deadline.

5. Test takers must collect their award cheques in person at the IDP Wan Chai office within 30 days of notification, presenting valid government-issued identification (e.g., HKID or passport) and their official IELTS Test Report Form for verification.

6. Award recipients are obligated to participate in a brief video interview at the Wan Chai office, during which they will share their IELTS preparation and test experience.

7. IDP Education Limited (Hong Kong) is granted irrevocable permission to utilize the test takers’ name, likeness, and interview content for promotional purposes across its platforms without additional compensation.

8. Any test taker found to have engaged in dishonest practices, including falsification of results, will be disqualified from the campaign.

9. Awards are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for alternative prizes.

10. Award recipients are not eligible to apply for a refund for the IDP IELTS test.

11. In case of dispute, IDP Education Limited (Hong Kong) reserves the right to the final decision.

Test Dates - IELTS on Paper

IELTS assesses all of your English skills — reading, writing, listening and speaking — and is designed to reflect real life use of English — at study, at work, and at play.

Test Dates - IELTS on Computer

If you choose the new option, you will take the Listening, Reading and Writing components using a computer. The Speaking test will remain face-to-face, as we believe it is the most effective way of assessing your speaking skills and prompts a more lifelike performance.

Test Dates - IELTS UKVI

If you need an IELTS test for UK visa applications, you can only take them at a UKVI approved IELTS test centre. IDP Education Hong Kong is a UKVI approved test centre and we offer all the approved IELTS tests for UK visa applications.

*The IELTS TEST PARTNERS^ no longer offer IELTS for UKVI on Paper in Hong Kong. Test takers can still take IELTS for UKVI on Computer in Hong Kong. UKVI on Computer offers results within 1-5 days and is available throughout the week, offering test-takers great availability.
