Santa Barbara City College is a comprehensive community college serving the south coast of Santa Barbara County. Established in 1909, SBCC is renowned as one of the leading two-year community college in California - and the nation.

Hillsborough Community College

Founded in 1968 as part of a 28-member community college system, Hillsborough Community College (HCC) is currently the fifth largest district in the State of Florida, serving more than 47,000 students each year at its five campuses and three centers.

HCC offers more than 150 academic programs, including 18 Associate in Arts tracks and over 140 workforce programs and is responsible for training the majority of the community’s first responders through its healthcare training, and police and fire academies. HCC enrolls the largest number of graduates from the School District of Hillsborough County who go on to higher education and is the largest community college feeder to the University of South Florida (USF) through the successful 2 + 2 Program.

With a total annual budget of over $215 million, HCC employs more than 2,400 and has a total economic impact of more than $1 billion. Over 75 percent of HCC graduates stay in the local community, and, together, HCC and its former students contribute more than $860 million in added income and economic impact to Hillsborough County.

Hillsborough Community College is the country’s 5th leading producer of associate degrees among two-year community colleges according to a new report published in the June edition of Community College Week. Using data assembled by the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics which compared over 1,200 community colleges in the United States, HCC awarded a total of 3,843 associate degrees during the 2011-12 academic year.

Additionally, HCC is the 13th largest producer of degrees for Hispanics and 15th overall for African Americans. In discipline-specific rankings, HCC ranked 2nd in the production of liberal arts and sciences associate degrees, a 30% increase over the prior year; 8th in the production of all health professions and clinical sciences degrees, a 40% increase over the prior year; and 8th in the production of all associate degrees in nursing.

Green River Community College

Green River Community College is a two-year public college in Washington state that offers degrees and certificates in academic and professional and technical programs, as well as courses in continuing education and developmental education.

GRCC is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and/or the U.S. Department of Education. In addition to the institution being accredited, several Professional Technical Programs have earned special accreditation or recognition in their field of specialty.
