Here is a list of foreign scholarships and information that you might find interesting.
LPDP provides financial support for Master and Doctoral degrees. Like previous years, the LPDP scholarship application for 2024 is divided into two phases. The first phase runs from January 11 to February 12, 2024, while the second phase starts from June 19 to July 18, 2024.
The LPDP scholarship covers financial support, including education expenses, including tuition fees, registration, living allowances, research allowances, and registration fees. The amount received by scholarship awardee will be adjusted based on the submitted payment evidence.
General requirements for obtaining the LPDP scholarship include:
Graduating from 4 years Diploma/Bachelor or Master’s programs at accredited universities.
Applicants should not be enrolled in a degree/non-degree program, either Master or Doctor, at the time of registration.
Not currently applying for, receiving, or about to receive another scholarship.
For applicants graduating from foreign universities, submission of degree equivalency and GPA conversion is required.
Doctoral program applicants must have a prepared research proposal.
Completing the registration profile according to specified requirements.
Signing a statement letter.
Writing a commitment to return to Indonesia, detailing post-study plans, and outlining contributions after completing the study.
As the name suggests, the Jardine Scholarship, managed by The Jardine Foundation, aims to help young generations obtain quality education.
This scholarship for studying in the UK is open to undergraduate and postgraduate levels, available for prospective students accepted at University of Oxford or University of Cambridge-affiliated campuses.
Besides covering tuition fees for the university, Jardine Scholarship also provides an annual allowance, including accommodation costs, daily needs, and insurance.
General application requirements for Jardine Scholarship include:
Demonstrating excellent academic abilities and having passed the entrance selection of one of the universities affiliated with the University of Oxford or University of Cambridge.
Submitting a Personal Statement outlining goals, aspirations, and plans after graduating from the target university.

This scholarship, offering financial aid of $50,000 per year or approximately IDR 576 million, can be enjoyed by 166 students (total scholarships and the number of student recipients may vary each year).
With a maximum acceptance duration of 3 years, the benefits of this scholarship include tuition fees at several Canadian universities. It is a Doctoral scholarship aimed at attracting individuals with strong leadership skills and excellent academic achievements.
General requirements for obtaining Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships include:
Open to Canadian and international citizens.
Applicants must demonstrate outstanding academic achievements.
Achievements in professional associations such as sports, arts, science, business, etc.
Attach transcripts reflecting academic records.
Provide a detailed Curriculum Vitae outlining experience, skills, and achievements.
Compile a comprehensive and relevant research proposal.
Obtain recommendation letters supporting qualifications and academic potential.
Never received similar assistance from institutions such as CIHR (Canadian Institutes of Health Research), NSERC (Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council), and SSHRC (Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council).
In addition to the LPDP scholarship, another highly sought-after Indonesian government scholarship is the Beasiswa Unggulan from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. Open to graduate and postgraduate degree, this scholarship is divided into several types, namely Community Achievement Scholarships, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Employee Scholarships, Outstanding Scholarships for Persons with Disabilities, and Award Scholarships.
In general, Beasiswa Unggulan is awarded to prospective students with intellectual, emotional, and spiritual capabilities to pursue higher education domestically and internationally. Beyond tuition fees, recipients of Outstanding Scholarships will also receive living assistance during their studies.
Each type of Beasiswa Unggulan has different registration requirements. However, in general, some things to note include:

Not currently receiving a similar scholarship from other sources.
Never attended education at the same level.
Not categorized as lecturers, teachers, educational staff, and cultural practitioners.
Commitment to maintaining a minimum Semester Grade Point Average of 3.00 for Bachelor's programs and 3.25 for Master's and Doctoral programs.
In the previous year, registrations for the Beasiswa Unggulan were open in August. Therefore, be prepared around that month for this year.
The Gates Cambridge Scholarship provides a unique educational opportunity for prospective postgraduate students with outstanding academic achievements.
This scholarship, scheduled to open in September 2024, not only covers full tuition for postgraduate studies at the University of Cambridge but also provides various additional allowances such as fieldwork allowances, as well as airfare, entry visas, and immigration health costs.
General requirements for this scholarship include:
Open to individuals from various countries around the world, except for British citizens.
Applying for a study program at the University of Cambridge, either in PhD (full-time or part-time) or MLitt (full-time) format.
