Blacktown Campus Merit Scholarship

Applications are assessed based on the strength of the following criteria:

Written statement
Letter of recommendationAcademic merit

Selection process

The recipients will be selected by the ACU Scholarships Office

Applicants will be required to provide the following as part of the application:

A written statement* of approximately 300 words outlining:

your future goals and aspirations
how your studies at ACU will help you to achieve your goals

Letter of recommendation (academic or professional)
Evidence of academic merit from your most recent studies (applies to future students only)

ATAR or equivalent or
academic transcript (including GPA)

*Statements are assessed on content, not language skills. If you access assistance from advisors, tutors or AI technology to complete your personal statement, please ensure that your submission accurately reflects your personal situation with regards to the criteria.

This merit-based scholarship recognises and rewards the academic achievements of students who are commencing in an undergraduate course at the Blacktown campus.

This scholarship is open to applicants who meet all the following criteria, by the scholarship application close date:

Campus: Blacktown
Course: any ACU undergraduate degree
Study load: full-time enrolment in Semester 2, 2024

To remain eligible for this scholarship, recipients are required to maintain the following each semester for the duration of the scholarship:

Minimum Pass grade for all units
Minimum GPA of 5 (on the ACU seven-point scale)
Full-time enrolment at the Blacktown campus
