The scholarship programme offers financial support of a minimum of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK. Students can apply for courses in a range of subjects, at the 72 institutions across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. For courses starting in September 2025. Scholarships cannot be deferred.
Eligibility
Applicants for full-time taught postgraduate courses who are resident in Indonesia or Thailand.
Applicants from Thailand can apply for one of the following courses:
LLM Public International Law
LLM International Commercial Law
LLM International Tax Law
LLM Intellectual Property.
Applicants from Indonesia or Mexico can apply for any BU full-time postgraduate course.
You must have achieved a minimum of a UK upper second-class Honours (2:1) degree (or overseas equivalent) that is relevant to your postgraduate study. Three for 2025 entry, one per selected country. Applicants for Postgraduate Diplomas are not eligible for this award. You cannot be in receipt of any other BU scholarships.
