A £2,000 scholarship is available to outstanding applicants for the Bar Vocational Studies programme, offered by The City Law School.
If you take up a place to study the Bar Vocational Studies (BVS) programme at City and have been awarded a first class undergraduate degree, you will automatically receive a City Law School Bar Vocational Studies Scholarship. The value of this scholarship is £2,000.
Available programmes
All pathways of the Bar Vocational Studies programme are eligible for the scholarship:
Bar Vocational Studies (full time)
Bar Vocational Studies (part time)
Eligibility
You should have a first class undergraduate degree (in law or another discipline) or an international equivalent. You must hold an offer of a place on one of the Bar Vocational Studies programmes, although this offer can be conditional or unconditional.
The scholarship is open to students with Home, EU and International fee status
There is no need to apply for this scholarship, as the fee waiver will automatically be applied if you meet the eligibility criteria.
You will still able to apply to 'upgrade' this automatic scholarship to a City Law School Dean's Scholarship for Academic Excellence or The City Law School Scholarship for Academic Excellence if you meet the requirements for those awards.
