Loyalist College Athletic Scholarship

As one of the few colleges in the Country to offer a scholarship program of this magnitude, the Lancers are committed to providing an exceptional student-athlete experience that helps ensure Loyalist College is a sought-after post-secondary destination.

Student-athletes will be required to sign the Loyalist Lancers scholarship agreement at the beginning of the season. Conditions of the agreement are listed below:

Be a full-time student at Loyalist College
Meet & maintain the academic requirements determined by the Athletic Department and individual academic programs

This includes passing all courses & maintaining at least the minimum average for graduation

Full commitment to team practices, competitions and sanctioned events.

Special exceptions may be permitted by the Head Coach or Athletics Department

Adhere to all rules and policies of the Athletic Department

Team rules, varsity team room rules, strength & conditioning policies, athletic therapy policies etc.

Follow the guidelines of Loyalist College's student code of conduct, Ontario College Athletic Association (OCAA) & Canadian College Athletic Association (CCAA) policies

This includes residence policies (if applicable)

Maintain a high level of personal fitness throughout the duration of the scholarship

Complete all fitness testing, team fitness programs etc

Always display an appropriate standard of conduct & sportsmanship.

Scholarship recipients shall never engage in any activity which may bring Loyalist College or the Athletic Department into disrepute.
