Recipients will be named by the Department Chair of the Bachelor of Science in Engineering - UT Program.
Successful applicants will be notified via e-mail. Committee selections are final, appeals will not be considered.
Typically given out in the Fall term.
Criteria
To be considered, the candidate must:
- Be a first year Bachelor of Science in Engineering - UT Program student
- Have entered the program with an outstanding record of academic achievement in high school and
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Submit a 500 word essay that outlines their academic and related career goals.
Students may receive this award a maximum of 2 times during their degree program.
Disbursement Criteria
For funds to be disbursed, successful applicants must be enrolled in a full-time course load and be in good academic standing.
Students apply for this award through their myStudentSystem. A link to the application will appear on your To Do List only when the application period is open. Please note that not all scholarships, awards, and bursaries will be available in any given application period.
