The office responsible for student awards, University Preparation and kihêw waciston will identify the students best meeting the eligibility criteria.
Successful applicants will be notified via e-mail. Committee selections are final, appeals will not be considered.
Typically given out in the Fall, Winter, and Spring/Summer terms.
This award will be applied as a tuition credit to the successful recipient's student account.
Criteria
To be considered, the candidate must:
- Be accepted into full- or part-time study in the University Preparation program at MacEwan University
- Be self-identified as Aboriginal (proof of First Nations, Metis or Inuit descent required)
- Intend to pursue a certificate, diploma or degree program at an Alberta post-secondary institution
- Demonstrate community involvement and
- Demonstrate financial need.
Disbursement Criteria
- Must be enrolled full-time or part-time.
- Must be in good academic standing.
