To be eligible, students must:
- be enrolled in Post-Basic Nursing Practice and have declared Hospice Pallative Care as their major
- have completed at least one course with a minimum GPA of 3.5
- convey a commitment to excellence in end of life care

For funds to be disbursed, successful applicants must be enrolled in a full-time course load and be in good academic standing.
